The Puckett's

I am so excited to finally share our wedding photos with you today! Stephen and I eloped back in April with just our parents present. We were fully planning on having another large symbolic wedding the following year, and just making it "legal" in April since we were most likely going t be traveling out of the country for our "big day'. Our day was perfection, it was easy, stress free, and felt completely right. The next morning we woke up and looked at each other and both said, "I just want to be married, I don't need another day!"

There were to things missing that were super important to me on that special day however, one was Stephen's daughter and now my step daughter and the second was I wanted really good desert photos! Being a wedding photographer myself this was super important to me, I didn't want to miss out on capturing all the memories just because we didn't have a traditional wedding day.

We decided to have a small reception here in Arizona, and Stephen agreed to having photos taken including our daughter before the reception. In fact, I said since I didn't get a wedding I should be able to have the entire family along for photos, and that means the pups too! I promised it would only be one photo shoot this year if he would agree to having the pups along as well!

I am so thankful for my family and for calling Stephen my husband. Eloping WAS the best decision we have ever made, and even though we did not go traditionally about our wedding plans, eloping then photos then small reception, it worked perfectly for us. I am so excited to start our family together and see what the future has to hold. Off next is honeymoon time! (oh yes, that was also an agreement I wanted a honeymoon!)

I can't thank our amazing team of creatives who helped me put together this amazing shoot, these memories will be with our family forever!
