NYE: Little White Dress

dress (under $50, I sized up) // shoes (old - similar) // bag (old - similar) // earrings // bracelet c/o // lips

I originally picked up this tight little white number for our honeymoon next month but when it came in the mail I put it on immediately and fell in love. The material is amazing and not thin at all, so much so that I just for fun paired it with these lace up lace heels and loved the look as a NYE option! For some reason I always gravitate towards all white, which is great however I tend to get stuck in the "where will I wear this" after I purchase it. Too sexy for baby showers, too inappropriate for bridal showers, so unless I am honeymooning it where else can I wear this dress? That's when I figured, why not new years? Ladies tend to go black sequin route, but this year be the girl in all white! You will stand out more!

This dress is under $50 and I actually sized up because I was self conscious of it being too tight on my booty! You can shop the full look below:

white white + pink!

pink coat c/o // white jeans (old - similar) // top // heels (old - similar) // bag c/o // necklace (old - similar) // bracelet c/o // earrings // lips: in color 'Brave'

I have had my eye on this pink coat for a few months now! I just love the dusty rose color, its so unique and can be styled in many different ways.  I also think its a great transition coat for not only these super chilly months but can also be worn when it becomes warmer out in the spring time. Plus, we have discussed my obsession with pink this season! Anyone else have the problem where they find a color they like and all of a sudden thats the only color you want in ANYTHING? I mean I have light pink glass christmas trees in my house this year! And I went to 3 different Hobby Lobby's to only get light pink ornaments... insert crazy girl emoji!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week leading up to Christmas! We are super busy over here with a special birthday today (my step daughter turns 7.. what!!) and Christmas is only 4 days away.. life can not get much better! Hope you are enjoying the holidays as well, now excuse me as I head off to learn how to make light pink hot chocolate.... yes, you read that right! I found this recipe on Pinterest!

last minute gifts: Mixbook

Christmas is exactly 8 days away, can you believe it? I am totally that person that tries to get my Christmas shopping done early, I try my hardest! But it never fails that I always forget someone or I think I have more than I do for someone else. Needless to say I am usually scrambling for last minute gift ideas! That being said, I also usually tend to gravitate towards something photo related. They are personal, emotional, and honestly I just love photos so they never disappoint!

This year I have teamed up with Mixbook to bring you some last minute gift ideas! They have so many different options if you are looking for canvas art, wall galleries, cards, prints, and my favorite calendars! In our house we have at least 3 or 4 calendars around. Trying to keep track of important dates, school schedules, and both our work schedules that are always changing we need calendars in almost every room! Calendars are also a great gift if you have family does not live close to you. My mom, also known as Gigi in this house lives in Canada so she misses out on lots of our day to day lives. We are always trying to FaceTime and talk on the phone but she still misses out. Since I got married and Sofia became her (step) grandchild it has gotten even harder for my mom to be away. So this year we made her a calendar with all her childrens, grandchildrens, and fur grandchildrens birthdays and important dates! Plus a ton of photos so she can feel as if we are with her always!

It is not too late to order your calendar, or any photo gift from Mixbook! We still have 8 days remember so just select express shipping at check out. I can't wait to see my mom's face when she opens her calendar (I hope she is not reading this post today lol) she is absolutely going to love it!

*Thank you to Mixbook for kindly sponsoring this post. All opinions are 100% honest & completely my own.

metallic holiday look

jacket (old - similar) // top // skirt c/o // shoes // clutch (old - similar) // choker // gold necklace (old - similar) // bracelet c/o // lips

Good Morning + Happy Wednesday! I am so excited to share one of my favorite holiday looks with you today.  I bought these red bow heels last year and became obsessed with them! Yes, they are a loud statement shoe, but they are under $40 so if you only wear them a handful of times or every holiday season it's no biggie.  I actually seem to wear them way more often than I originally thought, usually around the holidays but also a perfect choice for Valentines Day as well. You can see some of my previous outfits I have worn these heels here and here

This year I chose to pair the bow heels with this metallic skirt I receive last week in the mail. Stephen says its very 'Tina Turner' of me, I just brush it off because lets be honest the man wears jeans and a tee everywhere we go! I love the metallic look, the pleats, and the length. It's a fun skirt and great for any holiday party this season!
