almost sweater weather

jeans // sweater (sold out - similar) c/o Kohls  // bag c/o Gigi New York // booties c/o Kohls // earrings // sunglasses // lips

One trend I couldn't be more in love with is the cold shoulder! When trends start coming back or becoming popular most of the time I am hesitant before I am interested on how invested I will be with it or not, but not this one. I think the could shoulder cut outs are so chic and can definitely be styled cozy, casual, or dressy... literally it works in any level of comfort!

This sweater is no exception. I love the detailing in the knitting of the sweater pattern and there is also little pearls embedded in the 'V' section of the pattern around the chest. This sweater does fit true to size and is a little longer at the back to cover your bum incase you want to wear it with leggings and OTK boots instead of jeans.

Also in todays outfit, these favorite statement earrings are still available and they are only $20. I have worn them so  many times and I have no shame! I will wear them a bunch more as well.

Hope everyone had a wonderful week, a super busy weekend is ahead of me full of work work work! For those who don't know I am also a Wedding + Portrait Photographer here in Arizona so this time of year is full of family photos for those wonderful christmas cards. visit my photography site or follow along on my photography Instagram!

Beauty Brands Fall make-up master class

I lied, I said I would see you Friday but I surprised you a day early! I am so excited to share with you my second event from the Beauty Brands new concept store here in Gilbert, Arizona. Last Thursday (wow, its already been a week?) we had a fun beauty master class with a little sip'n'shopping focusing all around the season everyone is talking about, Fall.

The event started out with 3 wonderful beauty specialist using me as their model to showcase some fun looks. Starting with hair, we did a great top knot tutorial. Perfect for these chilly morning where doing your hair just isn't going to happen, putting it up in a top knot is a great and chic hairstyle. Then we proceed to skin care, everyones favorite! Next we removed my make up with the amazing Makeup Eraser, which I am fairly sure I made everyone buy since it really is magic! you can read all about it here. Next  was skin care from Laura Gellar, and finally ended with some easy make up tips for a minimal Fall look.

It was such a fun filled night doing nothing buy girly things! I can't wait for the third and final event at Beauty Brands on Sunday November 13th, mark it on your calendar!!

black on black

jeans // top c/o Shein (only $13!) // booties c/o Kohls // bag c/o Gigi New York // bracelet c/o Olive + Piper // sunglasses // earrings (on sale for $20) // lips

Not every day I will dress in all black, okay actually never, BUT I am loving this all black with a pop of gray in the accessories. Taking off the shoulder tops from Summer to Fall can at times be tricky, so I wanted to give it a more edgy look by pairing this blouse (only $13!) with black denim. I'm digging this look and may even give it a try again!

Sorry I have been a little MIA earlier this week, I am playing catch up. Todays post is short and sweet but I'll be back again Friday with some more shenanigans!

give me the cold shoulder

dress (under $50) // clutch (old - similar) // shoes (old - similar) // earrings (on sale for $20!) // lips

Happy Friday! My goodness I can't believe September has literally flown by, just a full week left until we are into October. These weeks have been so busy for me as we prepare to have our wedding reception (read our elopement story here) in just a few short weeks. I am so excited / ready to have it over with... good thing we didn't have a full on wedding I would totally have gotten carried away!

Can we talk about this soft pink cold shoulder dress please?! I LOVE it! Its under $50 and fits true to size, I feel the arms are a little baggy but after trying a few cold shoulder dresses I think they are supposed to be loose. Since it is officially Fall I decided to style the dress with my leopard clutch (every girl needs one!) and black lace up heels for a more edgy look. My all time favorite statement earrings (on sale for $20!) go perfect with the leopard + pink feel, I am not kidding when I say I literally wear these earrings all. the. time! You can see some other posts with these earrings HERE + HERE
