meetings after meetings

dress worn as a skirt (here) (similar) + shoes (similar) c/o LuLu*s // shirt (similar) + jacket (similar): Forever21 // bag (similar): H&M // bangle bracelet c/o Crystal Faye // other bracelets c/o InPink // necklace: borrow from Brie's closet

Being that it is wedding season here in Arizona photography has been crazy busy. It is also family photo time just before the holidays, as well as engagement time so brides are looking for their spring photographer to book. What I am trying to say here peeps is that life has been full of meetings after meetings, lunch dates, and coffee Starbucks meet ups. When meeting current or potential clients it is important that I am dressed appropriate to give a professional image while still looking current and letting my own style show through.

I love this black dress from LuLu*s, it is a similar cut to the dress I wore when working weddings in this post, but this particular version is sleeveless giving me more options to style it. The temps have dropped (finally) so I threw a stripped long sleeve over top + added my green army jacket for a layered look. I am usually caring my lap top + note pad so having this big H&M bag is perfect for everything to fit in. When going to bigger meetings with companies or first time clients I wear heels, I also have worn my leopard flats for more of a causal look. Depending how long my day is will depend on either heels or flats!

Speaking of busy days, Happy Monday Blogging Beauties I have one busy yet short week ahead of me. Can't wait for Turkey Thursday!!

Love your outfit! The little details like the statement necklace and bracelets would really jump out to me if I was considering hiring you as a wedding photographer. Brides are all about the little details and if you're wearing those little touches it says you notice them too!

You look darling. I like when one can use a dress as a skirt and a shirt as a fitted jacket.
