snaps from Cabo

I am so excited to share with you our weekend trip to Cabo we took last week. As I have mentioned before and may may know when I am not blogging my career and passion is wedding + portrait photography. I have been working on my photography business for 5 years now and finally a lot of my goals and dreams are coming true. One goal I set for myself was to become a destination photographer. I have had the honor to travel to fun places like; Carmel California, Aspen Colorado, Vancouver Canada, and this year I was hired to photograph a wedding in Los Cabos, Mexico!

The wedding took place at the Hacienda Encantada Resort and Spa. I couldn't tell you how amazing the resort is. The guest service was unlike anything I have ever received. The food was delicious with so many swim up bars and 3 or 4 actual restaurants plus the view from each place was incredible. I didn't get a lot of time to take 'blogging' photos since my days were jam packed with photography obligations but Stephen and I did get to spend one today exploring and having fun.

The hotel was 30 minutes away from downtown Cabo, they have a shuttle that runs back and forth so on Friday during our free day we took the shuttle down the the craziness that is downtown. We decided to do some exploring (and photo opps!) so took a glass bottom boat out to lovers arch and around the different monuments that Cabo had to offer. We also went and had lunch at the famous Cabo Wabo but then we loved our resort so much we headed back. Downtown is fun if you are looking to party, if you are looking to relax, which we were between our crazy work schedule, we opted for pool side lounging and cocktails on the infinity pool. I did wake Stephen up at sunrise every morning for an early morning swim, the colors of the rocks as the sun was rising were absolutely  stunning. Plus it was incredible to see the resort first thing in the morning.

It was a wonderful wedding and a great weekend. I can't tell you enough how being able to work and travel at the same time has made my life feel so special. Being able to do that I love while seeing the world was only something I could  have dreamed of. I will have photos from the wedding on my photography blog in the next week so make sure you check that out as well.
