Fall Trends: Make Up

It's Wednesday which means week 3 in our 5 week beauty series for Fall featuring Beauty Brands. Today I am going to share how I transition my make-up for the cooler months. Since it is so hot here in Arizona I don't typically load on the make-up, but as the months cool and the temperature becomes bearable outside I like to change up my routine. Take a look at some of my Fall must haves in the make up department

I am obsessed with this anastasia contour kit for so many reasons. I am not a huge contour but when I am wearing more make up I feel a little contour goes a long way. I wasn't totally sure what colors went where, or how much to apply and looking like a crazy clown was not my goal. So I youtube some make up tutorials and really using the contour kit is so easy! Definitely a must for my Fall make-up look!

Eyes are the second area in which I change when transitioning to Fall and Winter looks. Typically I add a few darker colors to my lips and crease for a more dramatic look. By all means I am not saying I load the make up on but I do use a few darker colors. This pallet is perfect because it has light and darks with a few medium warm colors that I really love.
I also add a few more layers of mascara for a more dramatic look. I never stick with the same brand and usually I will layer 2 or 3 different kinds while applying. I find different mascaras offer different coverage. You can see my full review I wrote on my favorite mascaras here

To finish off my Fall look I tend to wear a lipstick + a lipgloss! My lips are super dry here as the weather changes so instead of a matte lip stick I tend to go for a more glossy lipstick and always finish with a gloss.

There you have it, just a few changes to add a little more make-up for a fuller coverage look. Beauty Brands has lots of different palettes and gift set options this time of year. A girl can never have too much make up, just remember that!

Next week we will be focusing on hair, how to get the perfect holiday hairstyle. If you missed it and want to check out weeks ONE and TWO please do.

ps. In this last photo you may think that I had the dogs pose perfectly for this shot... reality is that I had to keep pushing them off the bed the entire shoot (of even crop them out of the photos lol) I finally gave in and they sat there staring at the camera until their portrait was taken! I guess I have trained them well!

*Thank you to Beauty Brands for sponsoring this post, all opinions and reviews are my own.
