one stop shop for everything expecting moms need

Good Morning + Happy Saturday! It has been a bit since I have gotten on here to check in with you all, life has been busier than ever and with baby quickly approaching and tying up loose ends in order to start maternity leave from my photography company. Needless to say my brain has been bit all over the place.
I am so excited to share one of my favorite CANADIAN shops with you today! I have been working with this company for a few months back and couldn't be happier with their brands and customer service they offer! It has truly become a one stop shop for moms to be, you can pick up your maternity items, baby gear/clothing, and even postpartum. Bellies In Bloom is located in Victoria, BC and ran by the sweetest owners, Sabrina + Becca. They have a brick and mortar shop as well as a huge online selection. Take a look at a few items I picked up from them and have been using/waiting to use non stop!

One of my most popular instagram photos AND one of my favorite photos for myself as well. I just adore these The Bee and The Fox matching tee + onesies. The tee is a non-maternity but I sized up to a large to fit the bump. (the brand naturally runs a bit smaller as is) I am 28 weeks in this photo but am still wearing the tee at 33 weeks. I actually can't wait to put baby in the onsie and wear the matching tee when baby is earth side, it will be a looser fit but I may want that way anyways :)
Also, see that adorable wooden teether? Bellies in Bloom has amazing local Canadian brands for their baby gear. This teether is from LouLou Lollipop, a Vancouver based brand and they are wonderful quality!

Ever think overalls are flattering on non pregnant women? Well, wait till you throw a pair on your growing belly! I have received MORE compliments on these overalls than any other outfit I think I have ever worn. A tank or long sleeve henley shirt under neath is super flattering and then throw on a plaid (as I did here) or oversized cardigan if its winter where you are and you are good to go! These overalls are stretchy material and have adjustable buttons on the sides so as your bump grows you can also allow the belly portion of the pants to grow too.

Ever want to wake up in your pajamas and then NOT have to change when you head out to a lunch date? This Mime Collective romper is a non maternity romper but I decided I really wanted it because it looked so cozy and it honestly is amazing with a bump. I wore it as we traveled to Arizona (which was beyond comfortable for the airplane) and draped a cardigan over it or can also throw on a leather jacket as shown above).  It also doubles great when it will be time to nurse because the opening of the romper is how you step into it so the neck is nice and stretchy!

One thing everyone said when I first got pregnant but I didn't actually believe would come true was how big my breast were going to grow during pregnancy. They hurt (definitely) at the beginning and slowly grew, but they have kept growing this entire time. I have gone up 3 cup sizes and apparently they will get bigger? I guess going from a 32 A to a 34 D is not such a bad thing but when you are not use to having them it can sure be challenging to manage.  Around 27 weeks I went and bought a new set of cheap bras but as they continue to grow I have actually turned to nursing bras especially at night for some extra support. I love this nursing bra from Boob, it is super comfortable and when I am laying around (which has just started to happen!) catching up on my hallmark Christmas movies I am playing with the snaps that will very soon be used for nursing.

I never expected to need so many new items in my life when becoming pregnant. Having great quality items that last a long time will help get me through this pregnancy and my next. Having a shop like Bellies in Bloom to access everything in one place also makes this transition so much easier, I am very thankful for it!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend, we sure are. Christmas is just a few days away (we have no snow yet :( sadddd) but maybe we will get lucky and a big snow fall will happen soon!

* Thank You to Bellies in Bloom, all items were gifted to me however all opinions and reviews are my own!
