a quick shopping trip to Harrods!

As NYFW comes to an end another fashion week starts up, and that my friends is LFW aka. London Fashion Week! Now after watching a week full of blog posts, instagrams, and tweets I am beyond envious of the fabulous ladies who got to experience it all. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands + well, no I am not going to LFW, but I did go & visit one of their fabulous + most respected department stores, Harrods! (that is I visited them online of course)

After browsing the sections, lusting over brands such as Alexander Wang, Stella McCartney, Emilio Pucci, etc, etc I put together a wish list on what I'd like to wear if I was attending LFW! Take a look at my outfit:

Since fashion week requires outfit changes throughout the day, I thought I would dress up the original outfit for a fabulous night time "walk around" London outfit! Here it is....

So what do you think? I will be one stylin lady walking through the streets of London stopping in the red phone booths to pose for blog outfit photos!    Hey, a girl can dream can't she?!

Anne Michelle Perton

Here we go for week 3 of LuLu*s all day long series! This week I am showing how you can rock these sassy nude strappy heels with any kind of outfit. Are they not the most fabulous things you have ever seen?! That answer should be YES from all of your mouths, they are definitely a fall must have so if you do not own a pair yet click right here and purchase these. You will not regret it, I promise!  There are other fun options from LuLu*s as well, these were just my fav!

shoes (here) c/o LuLu*s // shorts: Lush (here) // tank (here) + jacket (similar): Forever21
I really really hope crochet short never go out of style. I found these babies 2 summers ago and they have been a major staple in my attire ever since. Adding a jean jacket for the early fall mornings dresses both the shoes & the shorts down.

shoes (here) pants (here) watch (here) c/o LuLu*s //  top: Forever21 (similar) (similar) // necklace: H&M // sunglasses: Coach (similar)
Yes I am in Canada, and yes everyone rocks camo! I rock camo too except I paired the pants with these heels where others pair them with muddy boots. I fit right in walking down the streets don't you worry! Having the ankle strap is perfect with these jeans because of the zippers at the back. It allows for the pants to be long enough to cover the front strap but loose enough for comfort.

shoes (here) c/o LuLu*s // dress: Marshall's // teal ring c/o Social Experiment (here)
For my final look and evening look, I paired the shoes with this classic nude dress. It kinda gives that "all blend together look" which is perfect to make my legs appear longer. The softness of the shoes allows for me to play with bold accessories yet still adds enough to catch the eye.

Hope you are enjoying the LuLu*s all day long series! If you missed it, you can catch up on week one: Black Swan Wildflower  & week two: I'll Slink to that Chartreuse . Happy Hump Day ladies!

I have been totally crushing over graphic tee's this season. When I came across this BE YOU TIFUL shirt from Aeropostale I knew I needed it for my collection asap. I had 100 outfits picked out in my mind before I even added it to the cart. Not only is it super cute, I love the statement it represents. Every girl, no matter how difficult it seems, needs to remember they are beautiful for their own reasons & ways. Blogging has really helped get me through some tough times in the past year, but I can honestly say now I have found who I want to be & what I want to achieve in both my personal & career life. As a blogger it can be easy to get down on yourself or compare yourself to all the thousands of other bloggers out there. Reading about other's success daily can take a toll so it is super important to remember to always be yourself and stay true to who you are & what you believe. I now take this shirt as a reminder, we all make mistakes or have little bumps in the road, but at the end of the day BE YOU tiful!

Stesha Jordan Photography | Okanagan Wedding |

I wanted to share some of my favorite shots from the wedding I recently photographed. One of the main reasons I come to Canada for the summer, besides visiting my family, is to do photography. I was approach my Mike & Haylee early on in the spring to photograph their special day. They were referred to me by my sister & soon to be brother-in-law (my sis ties the knot Saturday!) so I was more than honored to be apart of their day. After many emails back & forth we finally met just before their wedding to discuss details. I could tell immediately these two were happily in love & that their love was not ordinary, it was definitely something special. On the big day Haylee was a nervous / excited /  emotional wreck! Emotions of tears ran from the beautiful bride's eyes all day while her groom just looked at her in awe as if he was starting at the most beautiful thing in the world. After the sappy I love you's & kissy photos we headed off to the bar where the couple met. Okay, I said that wrong they didn't meet in a bar, they both worked at the bar & while working they fell in love! So the bridal party all piled into cars & next thing we knew Haylee was on the bar top & everyone was taking shots! The happy couple looked at me as said, 'well, this is the real us!' It was a blast! Congratulations to Mike & Haylee, I wish you a lifetime of happiness!
