LuckyFABB outfit #2 + a giveaway!

skirt (HERE) + shoes (HERE) c/o LuLu*s // shirt + necklace: Target // belt + bag: Forever21

Today I am sharing the second outfit I wore to brunch at the LuckyFABB conference last week. These snakeskin heels have quickly jumped to the top of the chart for my go-to shoe. I paired them with a red (kinda orange) skater skirt from LuLu*s (in love with!) and a simple lace t-shirt. I accessorized minimally with just an old belt (it was too big so I tied it in a knot!) and a brown & white statement necklace from Target. It was a simple and day appropriate outfit that can be doubled for an all day affair. As the temperatures are quickly reaching 100 here in AZ I have a feeling I will be wearing this skirt often!

On another note, to end the week correctly I have a giveaway for you! Take a look at all the goodies you can win!!!

To do this, I've teamed up with some absolutely amazing ladies, and we're giving it our all to make one of you a very lucky winner of a $100 Target gift card, a personalized Erin Condren Life Planner, a Tory Burch Metallic Wallet, and an iHome. One winner takes it all!

The perfect geometric print outfit

JOA Geometric Print skirt (HERE) & top (HERE): Nordstrom // shoes (SIMILAR) + bag (SIMILAR) + necklace (SIMILAR) c/o LuLu*s // Ralph Lauren Ball Stud earrings (HERE): Nordstrom

I have been looking for the perfect two piece (I don't know the proper name for it) outfit for a few weeks now. I know it's more of a trend item that a classic staple so I didn't want to spend a fortune but I did want quality. When I came across this perfect JOA Geometric Print outfit from Nordstrom for just $79 (for both!) I knew it was destined. I had been looking for the perfect LuckyFABB outfit, you know the put together but casual awesome outfit? Once I added the JOA Geometric to my cart shopping was pretty much finished! The yellow & navy go great together for a fun flirt look but not too feminine and the crop top is a perfect fit, not too short but still allows a little bit of skin show.  All in all, I am more than happy with my decision to purchase!

Salvation Mountain

Last week on my way to LuckyFABB conference in LA {Amy} & I took a pit stop at Salvation Mountain just outside of Palm Springs, CA. I had never heard of such a thing but Amy had been reading all about Leanord and his mountain of paint! Although it was 2 hours of out the way (directions said 12 miles, not two hours.... you can imagine my stress level as we are trying to frantically get to LA) the trip was worth it. It was truly a unique site that I am happy I got to see. Read more of the history on Salvation Mountain & next time you are in the Palm Springs area I would suggest taking a pit stop to check it out! I LOOOOOVE all the colors and brightness of the landmark.

Fashion Forward Spring with Zappos | pt. 2

As you know this spring neutrals have been calling my name. When I came across this color blocked BCBG Generation romper from Zappos I added it to my cart without a second thought. It is light & airy which is a must for Arizona summer while the open front & back allow me to get creative + play around with different pieces for underneath. I chose a bright color bralette from Free People in a racer back style for under the romper. It adds the perfect pop of color while still keeping the outfit mostly neutral.  Since spring is my fav season I added stripy heels (in pink) & a simple neutral handbag to finish off the look. This outfit is super comfy, dressy enough for any meetings, or going to lunches with the girls!

On a side note, I have this issue with buying expensive sunglasses, mostly because I either loose or break them within the first 10 days. This has happened my entire life. It was a serious problem until I gave up + started just wearing 5 dollar mexico glasses or the free giveaway Uber ones from promotional events. I did however go and splurge on a wopping $15 pair last week from American Eagle and I must say they are really doin it for me!

April Showers

April Showers

April showers bring May flowers.

I am all about blue this spring, I have been rocking the Essie nail polish "Find me an Oasis" for over a month now & have not changed the color once. Seriously obsessed. I am not usually a blue girl but these last few weeks I can't seem to get my mind off of it. I put together a little inspiration board & hopefully most of these items make it into my closet stat!

baseball caps are in.

pants c/o LuLu*s // shirt c/o Aeropostale // hat (SIMILAR): American Eagle // bag: H&M // flip flops (HERE): Old Navy// lips: NYX Indie Flick

This is how I am typically dress whenever my schedule lets me. As much as I love strutting my stuff in heels & skirts, something about jeans, tee's, flip flops & a hat is my all time fav outfit. I LOVE wearing hats! My hair usually only makes it one good day, the second day is hit or miss so for those miss days a hat will always be on my head. I found this one from American Eagle on total accident the other day and snagged it up immediately. White & lace?! Does spring get any better? I have listed some other hat favs  below...my collection just keeps growing...opps!

life according to my iPhone

I had the chance to visit the Mill City Museum last month & I am almost certain I found any photographers heaven.

Easter is just 20 days away + it just so happens to be my favorite Holiday!

My mom came to visit a couple weeks ago + we spent the majority of our time at Vintage 95 wine bar.

I moved out of the condo I have spent the last 4 years in. Time for a new chapter in life!

Arizona has the pretties sunset's I have ever seen.

This little babe is the best. Who knew playing in a crib could be so wonderful!
