Happy Monday everyone!!! Hope everyones weekend was just fabulous and you are well rejuvenated and ready for the week :) To kick off this week strong I am excited to announce I am doing a giveaway of my cards over on Henning Love today. My half marathon is in just under two weeks. Ahhhh I cant believe how quickly it is coming up. The weather in Arizona is not cooling down much, if anything it has become a little hotter in the last few days. Since then I have decided to find a way to beat the heat! I am now getting up in the mornings and running at 6:00am when it is a little cooler out.
The training it getting more difficult these days. I am past the comfort 5 mile runs and I am running the 6, 7, and 8 miles now. I have had to turn to some resources to keep me pushing myself.
My newest and best friend has become my Nathan hydration belt. I am obsessed! If anyone is looking to get a belt, the Nathan is wonderful! I can't even tell I am wearing it.
My ipod! I love this little shuffle. I have the ipod touch but I have found the little shuffle is exactly what I need for those long runs.
My bubble gum!! This not only comes in handy on Tuesday's but I LOVE chewing gum and running. I take all my anger out on every bite.
Gu! I just started taking the Gu this past week. The texture is awful but it does wonders for your energy.
All of my key needs to get me through a run!!

i didn't realize the weather was so much different in phoenix... it's actually been kind of cold here in the suburbs of tucson. i miss the heat! haha. never thought i would say that.
