Tuft & Needle Mattress Review

I am so excited to share this post with you today! I have been hearing all about Tuft & Needle mattresses all over the place for about a year now. I couldn't wait to get my hands on one (or better yet my body!) to see if these reviews I was hearing were true or not. Since getting married in the spring a goal of mine was to redo the master bedroom, which was harder than expected being that now I had to take into consideration a mans feelings and taste towards decorating. I knew the first thing I needed to concentrate on was the bed! Both Stephen and I have back issues, his from a car accident + I have scoliosis and arthritis in my hop joints, so a proper and comfortable bed was high propriety for us!

First off the mattress is delivered in this box right to the door within two days of purchasing! A King size mattress in that thin box? Stephen was not convinced it was an actual King size, he kept saying are you sure they didn't send us a twin?! As soon as we opened the box and pulled the mattress which was sealed in an airtight bag we threw it on the box spring. *Side note, Tuft & Needle beds do not come with boxsprings because technically they are not needed, so either you have one previously or you have a bed frame that doesn't require a boxspring - just something to keep in mind!* As soon as we we cut the plastic the bed inflated immediately to a perfect King size mattress. I couldn't believe how quick and how perfect the  mattress expanded!

The review: the first week was not as I expected. I was expecting to just absolutely fall involve with the mattress, I would have the best sleep of my life,  and to feel absolutely comfortable in every direction. However, I am not sure if I needed a couple of days to get used to the new feel or if it had been because I visited the chiropractor the same day I got the bed but it did take a few days for me to get to know my new mattress. The same applied to Stephen, at first he said... "I mean it's okay?" that was NOT the reaction I was wanting.

It was the third night that I knew I had the right mattress. I woke up on the 4th morning and felt amazing. I had the best sleep ever! I was comfortable, my hips and back were not sore, somehow I felt that I even had way more space than I did with the old mattress. Tuft & Needle mattresses do have a firm feel but give you a cloud like sleep.... does that even make sense? I hope so because that is the best way I can describe it. I no longer have a stiff sore back when I wake up, I used to toss and turn through out the night but these days I am comfortable almost any direction I chose to lay. The best thing especially with two pups who believe the bed is also for them is that there are no dips, no feeling like you are rolling towards the middle or edge. Without th dips or pulling in the mattress must be the reason I feel the bed is a bigger size.

End result: after having the mattress for a few weeks we have tossed out our old bed and are 100% happy with the Tuft & Needle product. Both Stephen and I have greats sleeps each night, no more tossing and turing or waking up with stiff joints. The remodeling of our bedroom is now underway + with no need for a box spring looks like I will be searching for a new bed frame that fits just the mattress. Thank you Tuft & Needle for changing out lives, seriously there is nothing, and I mean nothing better than a great nights sleep!
