It's HUMP day!

Wow, what a week it has been! We are getting ready to leave for Mexico tomorrow (eeeeek, so excited!) so this week has been full of meetings, editing, and of course a little shopping. I cam across this floral romper (which looks like a dress when on!) at Nordstrom and absolutely fell in love with it.  The high neck line with low back and tie bow... insert heart eye emoji face! I just love it. I will not be taking it on my trip with me, however, it will be a summer staple as these days get hotter!

How did it get to be Monday again?! I'm confused to who said time can pass so fast! To start my week off I am sporting this bcbb white lace + collared dress I received as a hand - me - down form my grandma! Yes, you read that right... my grandma. She's got style ya'll! Sine I am such a fan of whites this spring + now as we approach not summer I have been finding fun ways to add pops of color. Whether it be brights like this teal & yellow bag or Fridays post with black fringe bag + leopard belt. No matter what kind of colors or patterns it has been fun playing around with!

I am a big jeans + tee's kinda gal. Although, I love to get dressed, up Stephen and I's life is farirly low key, casual, + relaxed. I found this neon striped shirt from old navy earlier this spring (I bought it first in pink, see that post here!) and fell in love with them. They are super versatile, I wear them around the house or (as pictured above) out for happy hour! I love the white on white look but I spruced it a bit adding a leopard belt and this amazing fringe bag. Fringe.... what do we think of it? At first I wasn't sold but then I found this one at Nordstrom (for $32) and gave it a chance. Now.... i can't put together an outfit with out it Its a real problem! Moral of this rant: be prepared to see it a lot on here!

It's Hump Day!

I have not worn a tube top (or strapless top!) in a very long time. I used to rock them all the time in high school + college then I decided I needed to dress more 'adult-ish' than I was. When I walked into Express last week there were 5 amazing colors and 2 fun summer prints that caught my eye. Peplum tube tops?! I must have! I tried it on and it fit like a glove. I chose white for summer (the tropical print was sold out in my size so I have ordered online!) because it can be paired in so much. Needless to say I am 28 + I have no shame rocking the tube top again! ps. both the tube tops are currently on sale for 30% off ... making them both under $25!

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, I sure did! Lots of relaxing time, a few photo shoots, and a wonderful night out with my big sis who was visiting from Canada! This outfit is perfect for a fun date night or a night out with the girls. I have had this sequin skirt for a couple years now and Express is still selling it! It has appeared on the bachelor a few times (Desiree + Nikki both wore it!) so I mean if its TV worthy it must be fabulous right? happy hump day!

I am loving these new lace shorts I got from Loft last week. As I approach my late twenties I have been having difficulties finding shorts that aren't bootie shorts but also not Bermuda shorts. When I came across these lace beauties I snagged them immediately.  They have the perfect 3 inch inseam which is super flattering on y body type. I just love them! and they are draw string.... score again!
