tis the season to wear leopard

outfit details:

dress // duster c/o // shoes (similar) // MK bag // necklace // lip liner + lip stick

I can't get over this leopard dress I snagged last week at Nordstrom. I was all set to check out when I was waiting in line, looked over and there it was just hanging. I know Topshop usually runs a size smaller so I sized up an thought to myself, "well if it doesn't fit I can always return!" Well, it fits like a glove! And can be worn for so many occasions this time of year. I think I may dress it up for NYE depending on our last minute plans.  Happy few days before Christmas, hope everyone is enjoying the holidays. And thank you so much for all your support this year!

holiday flare

outfit details:

Forever21 skirt (only $12.90) // Old Navy top (on sale for under $20) // choices bow shoes // Old Navy clutch (sold out - similar + similar) // lips ($3)

with just a week until Christmas Eve I wanted to share my Christmas Eve outfit! first, lets start with the shoes. I had my eyes on them for a wile now and finally bit the bullet and purchased them in time for the holidays. I love the bold statement color (they also come in 5 other colors!) and they are under $40. I was originally looking for some sequin pants to pair with these shoes for Christmas that could also double as NYE pants since we will be traveling and room is limited, however I was randomly browsing in Forever and came across this lace pencil skirt. when I saw the price said $12.90 I immediately tried it on and it fit perfectly. super comfy, not too tight and lots of stretch for those big meals!

hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season, a few weeks of craziness left!

blanket scarves for the win

outfit details:

turtle neck tunic (comes in 6 colors!) // jeans // blanket scarf (under $25) // boots (under $85!) // bag

let's take this Thursday to talk about blanket scarfs shall we? how much do you love them? the answer my friends should be,  A LOT.  I found this large brightly striped blanket scarf for under $25 and it is warmer than most of my regular blankets! not that I need anything super warm here in Arizona but you bet this will be around my body as I head up to america's hat (aka Canada) in 2 weeks. I find blanket scarfs are wonderful for traveling as I am always chilly on the airplane. they are both stylish and practical... score! in other news, my OTK boots are on sale for under $100 and they come in 4 different colors....these will also be accommodating me to the north this winter!

perfect holiday dress for under $25

outfit details:
Forever21 dress // boots (also love these) // vest (similar) // LuLu*s clutch (sold out - similar) // Necklace initial gold ring c/o // earrings (similar)

I wore this beautiful high neck floral dress for Thanksgiving this year. I was browsing through forever21, which I have been to in a few months but figured I would take a look. Hanging by its lonesome was this beauty. I didn't even try it on in the store I just willed it to fit perfectly, and it did. I had so many compliments on the dress that I felt like a princess all day. Ok not really, but it sure made my food baby not show and that in itself is a win! For under $25 this dress is a must have for the holidays.
