Today I want to discuss lips. Lipstick colors to be exact. Summer is here + there is no better way to brighten up your smile than to add a pop of lip color. Pink for me is always my number one choice of pigment so I am going to introduce you to my 4 must have colors on me at all times.
All colors are by MAC, yes there are drugstore brands that I love too and of course those upper end $40 lipstick tubes as well but my moto is when you find something that works stick with it. Also with MAC if you have 6 empty containers (of any kind) you can take them in and receive a free lipstick!! Score!
1. HUE - top left corner is my favorite nude color of HUE. Sometimes nudes lips can appear to look as though you have canceler worn as lipstick so you must choose the pigment carefully. I love HUE because it is nude, can be applied quickly and is great for any occasion!
2. SNOB - top right corner is the pale pink color of SNOB. I discovered SNOB this past spring and instantly fell in love with it. At first I thought it might be a little too bubblegumish for me but after trying it a couple times I quickly realized it is not. The pale pink is great to add some brightness to your everyday look, and even casual evenings!
3. CHATTERBOX - bottom left corner is pretty in pink color of CHATTERBOX. It has been two years now since I have been wearing CHATTERBOX on my lips. Not only does the name fit me to a tee the color is amazing. It is so versatile! Above I have it plain but often times I put a darker gloss on it for extra shine which really brings out the color. I love to wear this shade when I am attending special day events or romantic date nights!
4. PINK PEIGON - bottom right corner is neon pink color of PINK PEIGON. I have been on the search this summer for a bright, I mean bright pink color lipstick. Many of you may have heard of 'candy yum yum' by MAC, a very popular neon pink shade right now. When I went to try on 'candy yum yum' I seriously looked like Barbie. I'm not sure if it was my blonde hair or light complexion but it just didn't work.... so insert PINK PEIGON. A very similar shade but more pigment giving it not aaaas much neon vibe. I definitely suggest it to you blondes out there!
