meet the sponsors

SaraMontana Says... is pretty much just what my blog is called. I blog what I say, what I like, what I do. From DIY's to my daily adventures follow along as I share what makes my life special, usually its the small things, but I have found that those are the most important. :D

My name is Tara Reid, and I'm the girl behind Starletta Designs and this blog. I'm a designer, creator, business woman, fashion lover and blogger. I am 26 years old and currently live in a small city in Southeastern Ontario, Canada. I live with my fiance and our two cats, Cleatus & Crawal. I work as both a freelance graphic designer, jewellery designer and part-time customer service representative.

My name is Nicole. BABE to my loverbuns, Zach. And momma to my furbabies, Zoey & Felix. I'm a sweet southern girl that hails from the great state of Texas. I'd love to share some of my whirlwind life story with you, the things that excite me the most, and I'd also love to learn more about you. Let's be friends! :)

hey ya'll! this is a blog. a blog about yours truly and my farmer AND our latest and greatest edition…bebe (on the way).

Hi! I'm Katie and this blog was created for my sister Lauren and sister in law Lauren. I am a wife, Jesus follower, teacher, crafter, runner, clearance clothes finder and sweets lover.I hope you enjoy my blog!

Piper's Place was started as a side project while I was still at the Fashion Institute finishing my degree. I wanted to practice my Illustrator and Photoshop skills and remember everything I had learned in school and at the same time start a small business that I could manage while I was finishing up my degree. This way I could make a little bit of money doing something that I loved in a very low-stress environment. Thus Piper's Place was born.

ketchup and clamato

romper: F21 (seen here) Jacket: F21 (seen here) belt: random shoes: mom's

2 things I am going to miss about Canada. Ketchup Chips and Clamato juice! One good thing about driving home to Arizona.... I can take both with me. If you live in the states you are probably reading this saying what the heck are ketchup chips. LET ME TELL YOU! They are heaven. I am obsessed with ketchup chips and they are exactly what they sound like. Just like BBQ chips except the flavoring in ketchup. It is a Canadian thing and I get so sad with out them with in Arizona. Clam juice you ask? For all of you who drink bloddy mary's the Canadian version are caesars. Made with celery salt, clamato juice, vodka, and a lime. delicious! Ok blog world I am back to editing, sorry for the short post and lack of commenting.  I still love you all I just NEEEED to get this done.

ps. do you see how long my hair is getting? I owe this all to you guys for the advice on dry shampoo, braids, and buns! love it!

I look like a boy

jeans: A&F (old), Shirt: Divas Boutique, Shoes: LA fashion district, watch:MK,  earrings:gifted

As I am posting these photos, looking at my outfit, It dawns on me.... I look like a boy in these and this outfit really is not cute! I mean, what is going on here? I am slightly embarrassed, although this is what I wore all day! I have been living in a small country town for the past 4 months with no shopping and no access to anything new or trendy. People what is going on with my fashion sense? I am leaving next week for my bog road trip back to Arizona. Yes Phoenix, where every 5 miles there is a mall, target, boutique....anything!!! Although it has been an interesting summer, I am very excited to get back "home".  Happy Weekend lovies, and do some shopping for me!!

I blog over at for Lauren and Lauren and I started my blog as a way to share my daily outfits with my sister Lauren and sister in law Lauren.

I had no idea how much I would love blogging and love the blogging community.
It has been such a fun new hobby!
I use my blog as a place to share my love for clothes (and usually how cheap I find them for).

I also use my blog to share different projects I've made, like some of these:

sailboat tee                               maxi dress                             statement necklace

And of course I share things going on in my life, such as stories about my husband and my life as a third grade teacher.

Today I'm excited to be giving away one of the headbands from my etsy shop
The flower comes on a clip so it can be worn on any headband or on it's own.
Which means it can be perfect for a baby, little girl or yourself!

life is love

romper: Divas boutique, jacket: F21, shoes: TOMS, watch: MK

“There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment.” - Sarah Dessen

I am headed off to the city of Vancouver today to photograph a wedding! I am so excited because I have known the bride since I was ohhh about 3 months old. Her mother and my mother were high school beast friends. This got me thinking a little bit about love. What is true love and how do you know you have it?

“You don't love someone because they're perfect, you love them in spite of the fact that they're not.”-Jodi Picoult

Weddings are always a joyous occasion, happy tears, beautiful brides, and the thought of love forever fills the air. It also gets everyone thinking that love is picture perfect, I mean just look at them right? What we forget is that love is not perfect and even the most beautifully photographed couple have fought battles in their relationship. The question is my friends, if you think you have true love how far will you go to keep it?

“So it's not gonna be easy. It's going to be really hard; we're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me... everyday.” - Nicholas Sparks

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend.  I am really looking forward to the road trip to the city, and a full days worth of work on Saturday!! Yes work, yet its a beautiful wedding so don't feel that bad for me. :) Happy Friday loves and just remember if you love someone, tell them and celebrate it!

GUEST POST // FARMER AND THE BELL

I am super excited to introduce to you Bell and the Farmer! She has the cutest life, just read!
...................................................................................................................................................................

well hello all you classic and bubbly readers! can we start off by giving a little shout-out to the owner of this here bloggy? isn't she a doll with the cutest outfits?

if you head on over to by blog i can guarantee you two things:

1. no cute outfits
2. a lot of pregnancy talk

basically the exact opposite of "classic" or "bubbly." but hey, it's my little corner of the world wide web.

shall we do a little "about bell" talk? we shall:

1. let's just get it out there, i love listing things with bullet points or numbers...obviously.
2. i'm married to a farmer. he's super fantastic.
3. we live in a town with a population of...about...75-ish (on a good day). soon to be 76. farmer and i are doing our part to create a "population boom."
4. again...i'm having a bebe. it's our first. i like to post really horrible pictures of my bare stomach and my disgusting belly button. sick.
5. i love love LOVE to brag about being married to the best farmer there ever was. the man built me a house with his own two hands (and a little help).

6. i also love to brag about what a wonderful life living on a farm can provide. i mean...i'm from the big city, so it was a bit of an adjustment. ESPECIALLY when we lived in a single-wide trailer for the first year and a half of our marriage. it certainly made for some interesting "discussions" between farmer and me. mostly about how he better build me a house...or else.
7. i try desperately to learn to cook, stay fit, and get dressed most every day. i typically fail...except for on the fitness front. i really enjoy getting high (in the legal sense) off a good run.

i'm going to spare you bullet points 8, 9, and 10. but they would have had something to do with pregnancy symptoms (aka - crying on demand), learning to wire a fire alarm and buying toilet paper in bulk. you're welcome.

Make sure you head over and pay her some love!

never forget

Can you believe it has been 11 years? I remember the morning of 9/11/11 so clearly, I was a sophomore in high school, I was brushing my teeth getting ready to head out the door when my mom called to my sister and I, girls come here! We walked into the front room looked at the news that was on the TV and just stared. After a few moments I asked, "I am confused, is this a new movie that is coming out?" No one answered, mom just shook her head. My mom and others in my extended family has just been to NYC and the world trade center the week before. How fast life can change. My heart and prayers go out to all the family who are affected by the awful events of 9/11. May we never forget,

stripes

dress: my moms closet, boots: La fashion district, belt: F21, bracelets: Juicy Couture, earrings: Nordstrom

I seem to be lost for words today. I spend most of the weekend in a country town swooming over all bloggers twitters, instagrams, and blog posts on Fashions Night Out and Fashion Week. While I am in a town with not even a mall, everyone else is visit Kate Spade, getting the newest trends, and eating Tory Burch cookies. On another random note, I love watching the Kardashians on Sunday nights! I know many of you are going to freak when I say this BUT Lord Disick cracks me right up. Don't get me wrong he is completely over the top and many times annoying but in the past few seasons I have found him so funny. welp, I think this wraps up my post for today, hopefully tomorrow I will be a little more creative. Happy Monday loves!

birds who sing

shoes: Chuck Taylors, dress: F21 (also here) sweater: Banana Republic, hat: Target (also here & here)

Wednesday night I could not sleep at all. You know those nights where you are trying to get comfy, cuddled in under the covers, window open for fresh air...ahhh sleep. Then it starts, your arm gets an itch, then your leg now gets an itch, now you have to pee. Ok back to bed! Now your arm falls asleep, you start to get a head ache and it goes on and on and on. This was Wednesday night for me, I wanted to cry. I was so tired and I could not sleep to save my life. I finally moved the the couch and that must have worked because I slept for a little until the birds started to sing outside at the late hour of 5AM! Have you ever listened to birds sing? I used to think they were speaking to one another but I think they just sing to themselves. (yes, I had time to study their singing while I was desperately trying to go back to sleep) Maybe the lack of sleep explains the sillyness of these photos?

Happy Weekend,
love S
