How many of you have been watching the Olympics? I am honestly glued to the television.  We are  talking waking up at 6:00am to get my butt out of bed so I can see every little event, medal ceremony, athlete interview there is. Being in Canada and knowing fully well how much of a couch potato I would be come Olympics,  I was a little afraid I would not get as much coverage as I would like. I stand mistaken!  I get Canadian, America, and Great Britain's Olympic channels! AMAZINGGGGG!!! Yesterday I saw the proposal between american swimmers, the mens team gymnastics drama with Japan, and how can I forget the babe himself, Ryan Lochte!! AH! Do you think I have a chance? maybe? haha!! Hope you are all enjoying the Olympics as must as I am.  Can't wait for track and field to start next week! Happy Tuesday!

summer anthem by classic-bubbly featuring wide brim hats

I put together my summer anthem a few weeks ago of fashion inspiration. Summer is my absolute fav season and the fashion trends always top my charts.  Obsessing over large hats, sandals and of course the dress.  Since I have been up in my home town of Vernon, BC where there is no shopping. I repeat NO SHOPPING ladies. The mall, if you would even call it a mall closes at 5pm and the only shops I was able to find contained Canadian merchandise or clothes my grandma would love.  I have been saving lots of $ this summer to say the least ;) I was flipping through my closet of the clothes I brought with me from phoenix and tada my summer anthem is hanging right in my closet! Now I know it's not floral and coral but it is floral and hot pink and that works for me!

Birthday Drink!

One of the best parts about Birthdays, except for the all attention on you and the fabulous gifts with your big surprise wrapped inside, is enjoy beverages with your girl friends! Now, for me I know I love getting all my ladies together (sorry boys kickin ya to the curb for once) to have a classy night. That may or may not end up with a bottle of champagne our hands while dancing on tables. BUUUUT before that how fun is it to get together and have delicious cocktails? Look what I found on pinterest as my Birthday drink this year?

Birthday Cake Martini 1.5 ounces vanilla vodka 1.5 ounces cranberry juice 1/2 ounce champagne Rim glass with Sprinkles (cake frosting helps to make them stick). Combine vodka and cranberry juice in an ice shaker, half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into glass. Top with Champagne. Drop in cherry. Enjoy!
