Happy Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Was everyones weekend filled with pumpkin carving, costumes, and lots and lots of candy?! I know mine was.  One day a year we get to dress up in crazy and outrageous costumes and either get a treat or play a trick! Which would you prefer? trick or treat?!

My post today is all about pumpkins and the creative things you can do with them. 

Starting off we have our traditional orange pumpkin! Who bakes pumpkin seeds after they are done carving? add a little garlic salt and yum yum!

Next we have the ghost pumpkins.  This is the first year I have ever come across ghost pumpkins.  They are completely all white. I think they could possibly be my favorite.

Next we have pirate pumpkins.  Don't you think they look like something you would see in Pirates of the Caribbean? I am not particularly a fan, but hey, interesting at the least!

The pumpkin patch I went to was up in Vernon,  Canada at a place called Davidson Orchards. There were kids running around everywhere picking which specific pumpkin they wanted. 

All over the orchard were "people" made with pumpkins! How funny are these pictures.  The effort and creativity that went into these displays was awesome!

 I found this sign at the orchard and I just fell in love.  Autumn is in full effect!

Holiday Specials!!!

It is Saturday!!! Hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful holiday weekend.  I cant wait to see all the costume posts on Monday!!

beauty of a field.

There is something about white well I guess a little yellowish colored fields that inspire me.  I am not sure if it is because ever since I was a little girl I always imagined getting married (me or watching someone) in a field.  Very simple, yet, breath taking at the same time.  When I cam across this field It was exactly what I always imagined so I knew, JUST KNEW,  I wanted to photograph it.  I couldn't help but fall in love with the large tree just hanging out in the middle. It looks like a scene from a movie, or maybe what country singers describe in their songs.  Hope you enjoy!!!

Oh How Pintersting!!!

I did it.  I couldn't take it anymore.  After all the love from last Friday's post I decided to join in on pinteresting Wednesdays. 

I have been thinking a lot about fall, (obviously) and decorating my home.  Now, I know all of this will probably not be possible until I am an established housewife but until then I can dream right?!

My bestest friend is the BEST at decorating, and I know she gets it from her wonderful mother.  Their homes are seriously pottery barn/pinterest site all in one.  Amazing if you ask me.  To be inspired by beautiful homes and perfect decorations here are some pictures I found on Pinterest this week.

Bubbly Tuesday!

IT'S BUBBLY TUESDAY!!!

Here it is again! I hope everyone is really starting to enjoy their Tuesday's.  So,  I've been thinking,  recently I have been getting a lot of email/comments/tweets from my fabulous followers loving Bubbly Tuesdays...... sooooo I am going to throw it out there and get some feed back.  How would you feel about one Tuesday a month I feature a guest blog on my Bubbly Tuesday!! You can send me a post containing what you are doing on Tuesday that is just for you  (obviously blowing a bubble) and it will be featured on Classic & Bubbly.  Thoughts?? This Tuesday I am off to Los Dos Molinos.  It is a fabulous little mexican restaurant in Phoenix with THE BEST mexican food.  I choose this location because I am captivated my the decor they have on the outside patio. It was a perfect photo shoot location and I am excited to go back and eat tonight!!

The Shine Event!

Happy Monday!!! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I cant believe it is another week and we are in the last week of October....where did the time go?! ( I also believe I said that when September ended, but it feels just the same!!)

I am introducing you to a sneak peak of The Shine Event from last week!! It was seriously amazing.  Ashley did just a great job of putting on the event, and what a success it was.  Take a look!

The amazing detailed center pieces she had.  The tables were full of vintage style decor with pictures of seniors from Cesar Chavez High School.  Inspirational quotes and signs were displayed everywhere. 

  Here is Heather, Erin, and Jen! They all have fabulous blogs and it was so wonderful to meet these lovey ladies! A blogger meet up soon please?!

Kids showed up in shine shirts to support the foundation! Seniors did everything from speeches, choir, band, drum line. It was very inspirational.  

A great friend from high school, Ashley from The Pink Ruffle was there as well. 

What a night.  It is truly inspiring to see one lady put on such an organization.  Good luck Ashley with everything, your foundation will be more than successful!!

currently obsessing about......

OK! So,  I know PINTEREST has taken the internet by storm, yet I seem to be so challenged at it? Its ok tonight I played around on it and created a username, nope still have not logged in.  I really just like looking at everyone else's pins....

For the weekend I am going fall shopping!! YEPP, doesn't matter that Arizona is staying at 95 degrees, I want boots, scarfs, sweaters!!! Here are some pictures from PINTEREST that I found of newly purchased items to my collections!

I have been wearing grey nail polish this past month! My cousin said it reminds her of concrete..... I responded with, "rude, it is fabulous!"

Scarfs that are connected.  They are so fun, they just loop around.  I have a Free People one that looks similar to this one :)

Leg warmers to go under my boots!!! Yes the sales lady looked at me like I was crazy,  I understand I am in Arizona but one day I will be able to wear them!

Have not found yet, BUT I am looking for a camera bag like this one! The one I currently have is ugly black and yellow.... reminds me of either boy or bubble bee. 

what fall finds are you obsessing about?! Lets all go shopping this weekend.  I think I deserve it after my week.... yepp you do too!!

The Shine Event!

It is finally here! Miss Ashley over at The Shine Project is hosting The Shine Event tonight!

Canadian geese

I took these pictures a few weeks ago when I was on my vacation in Canada. My mom and I went for a walk down by the beach and there were MILLIONS of geese everywhere! OK, maybe not millions but a lot. It was so fun trying to capture the geese and they dove for fish, swam around, and tried to fly. Speaking of flying, I was trying everything to make them fly to get a great shot. I had my mom throwing rocks, sticks, yelling, running towards them.... the list goes on, yet, nothing!

I gave up on trying to get them fly and I just started photographing them as they were. Hope you enjoy the pictures :)
